MSP Communications has announced its list of Rising Stars for 2006. Rising Stars are recognized as up-and-coming lawyers who are under 40 years old, or are over 40 but have been practicing law for ten or fewer years. The list of 2006 Rising Stars is published in the December/January 2006 issue of Minnesota Law & Politics, and the December, 2005 issues of Twin Cities Business Monthly and Mpls/St.Paul magazines.

Only 2.5% of attorneys in Minnesota made the list. Ballots were mailed to all of the current Super Lawyers in Minnesota. Votes from lawyers outside the nominee's firm weighted greater than votes from within the firm.
