Steve Rau Begins Term As President of the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

Steve Rau began his term as president of the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association on July 1, 2008. The Minnesota Chapter of the FBA was chartered in 1940 and has been active since 1962. Today there are over 800 members from private practice, government agencies, military branches, local law schools and local courts. The Minnesota Chapter is the third largest FBA chapter and is recognized as one of the most active and innovative FBA chapters in the country. Steve previously served as president-elect (2007-2008) for the chapter. He has been involved in the chapter's nationally recognized Pro Bono and the Federal Transport Projects. The latter project reunites dependent children with mothers serving sentences for federal crimes. Steve has more than 25 years of experience as a commercial litigator and trial lawyer and has been recognized as Minnesota Super Lawyer for more than ten consecutive years.
