On November 16, 2006, Flynn|Gaskins|Bennett attorneys Robert Bennett and Ryan Vettleson received a verdict in excess of $447,000 in a civil rights/excessive force case heard in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis. The case involved a fifty-one year old woman who suffered two wrist fractures and a dislocation when a sheriff's deputy used excessive force on her in a bingo hall where he had come to arrest her daughter on a bench warrant.
