Sonia Miller-Van Oort was invited to speak on a 3-member panel as part of the University of St. Thomas's October 24, 2008 "Visions of Women's Leadership" conference. Eighth Circuit Judge Diana Murphy, private practitioner Mary Cullen Yeager, and Ms. Miller-Van Oort answered questions posed by moderator Professor Julie Oseid regarding leadership and women in the legal profession. There were approximately 200 attendees from the business community, the legal community, business and law school students, and University professors and deans.
